Coloring order
- Color the Classic Roadster's slim body, with no roof, in red, and try brown or beige for the seats inside.
- Use silver and gray for the wide grille, the round headlights, the wire-like spokes and the bumpers, one line at a time.
- Last, color the yellow line on the winding coastal road, the lighthouse on the cliff, the sun on the horizon and the sailboats on the sea.
Questions to talk about
- Whom does that lighthouse guide at night?
- What kind of town is waiting at the end of this road?
- Have you looked at a faraway view from the seaside or a high place? What was there?
Take it further
Draw a winding road on paper and add a yellow center line to make your own coastal road, with a lighthouse and sailboats along the way.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.

- Fill the large areas first and leave the small ones for later.
- The finished version is only a suggestion. Any colors you like will work.
