Coloring order
- Color the R1T's wide roof and truck body dark green first, and use a different color for the gear box on top.
- Color the charging post beside the truck and the thin light line across the front white or pale, and the wheels dark gray.
- Last, divide up the tall red tree trunks, the orange tent, the solar roof and the ferns on the ground.
Questions to talk about
- Where do you think this truck is getting its power right now?
- What would a night among these giant trees be like?
- Have you been camping or on a picnic? When was the best moment?
Take it further
Roll newspaper into a tall tube to make a giant tree, stand it up and compare it with your own height. Tape the base down with a grown-up so it stays up.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
