Buses and Train Coloring Pages
10 printable coloring pages of buses and trains drawn as characters. Each truck has a name and a job, so there is something to talk about while coloring. The line art is 300 DPI, sized for full-page printing. Each comes as a pair: a color reference and black-and-white line art.

Ways to use this collection
Five public-transport friends: BB the school bus, Cito the city bus, Bolt the high-speed train, Subi the subway, and Trami the tram. The school bus kids ride each morning, the subway under the ground, and Trami rolling on street rails are great to compare, and since everyone rides together, the set also fits a talk about taking turns.
Activity ideas
- While coloring BB the school bus, talk about lining up and waiting until the people getting off have stepped down first.
- Line up chairs for a school-bus game and practice roles: fastening seat belts, staying seated, and greeting the driver.
- Join Subi, Bolt, and Trami together with paper strips into one long train, and keep changing the number of cars to make longer and shorter trains.
Tip Buses and trains have repeating windows and doors, so markers keep the lines crisp and tidy; children age 4 and up can finish a page in about 20 minutes.
