Coloring order
- Color Gigi's long neck and body light yellow first, then fill the round spots all over with brown or orange.

- Finish the leaves and pods on the branch at the upper left, plus the grass and tiny flowers below, in several greens.
Questions to talk about
- If Gigi's neck were short, how could she reach the leaves up high?
- Who do you think knitted the green scarf for Gigi?
- If you suddenly grew very tall, what would you want to try?
Take it further
Tape paper strips end to end to make a neck as long as Gigi's, then hold it up beside you and compare it with your own height.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
