Coloring order

Alternate red and lime stripes on the huge balloon, section by section, and add the yellow band and the heart decorations between the ropes.
Color the gray koala peeking out of the basket with pink inside the ears, and the basket in a brown and orange weave.
Add the little yellow bird flying alongside, the smiling sun, the clouds and the twinkling stars to complete the sky trip.

Questions to talk about

Where is the koala traveling to in the hot air balloon?
What could you see on the ground from way up in the sky?
Who would you take with you on a balloon ride?

Take it further

Hang a paper cup basket from a balloon shape with string, then take a stuffed toy on a hot-air-balloon trip like the koala.
