  3. Last, color the scales of the snake tail curling up on the left in two greens, and the claws and hooves in dark shades.

Questions to talk about

  • Chimerune is made of several different animals. Which ones can you spot?
  • What could three animals do together if they worked as a team?
  • If you combined two animals you love, what would it look like?

Take it further

Imagine a new friend by mixing two animals you like, draw it, then give it a name and one special trait to introduce to your family.

Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
