Coloring order

  2. Use light and dark green for the moss on the shoulders, elbows and feet, and thin teal lines for the gaps between pieces.
  3. Finish the sprout leaves growing from the head, the two small eyes and the big fists in yellow, green and brown.

Questions to talk about

  • What do you think the sprout growing on Terragrom's head will become?
  • What sound would this clay friend make when it walks?
  • Have you ever made something out of clay or mud?

Take it further

Press several round lumps of clay together to build Terragrom, then poke a paper sprout leaf into its head.

Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
