Coloring order

  1. Color Pato's blue body first, leaving the doors and the white area at the front uncolored.
  2. Add the small blue light on the roof, the pale blue windshield, the big eyes and the wide smile, one part at a time.
  3. Finish with the silver grille, the yellow headlights, the gray bumper and the wheels.

Questions to talk about

  • Who does Pato help while patrolling around town?
  • When does the light on Pato's roof start flashing?
  • What promises should we keep when crossing the street?

Take it further

Make a crosswalk on the floor with colored tape. When a friend playing Pato signals, raise a hand, look both ways, and cross slowly.

Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
