Activity guide for this page
- Recommended age
- Ages 5–8
- Estimated time
- 25–35 min
- Difficulty
- Medium
- Areas to color
- about 170
Coloring order
- Start with the big wall below the cathedral's pointed roofs in brick red, and leave the snowy ground and clouds white.
- Choose a different color for each onion-shaped dome, such as green, blue, red or yellow, and alternate colors in the stripes and diamonds.
- Last, color the waving child's red coat and fur-trimmed hat, the yellow belt and the blue pants.
Questions to talk about
- Every onion dome has a different pattern. Which one is your favorite?
- What do you think the child will do and where will they play on a snowy day?
- What do you always put on when it snows?
Take it further
Draw one big onion-shaped dome with your own pattern and cut it out. Join it with your friends' domes to build a colorful cathedral on the wall.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
