Coloring order
- Color the 750S's softly curved hood and doors a vivid orange first, and choose either the same orange or black for the roof.
- Use black for the headlights tucked into their teardrop-shaped hollows, the big opening at the front and the small vents beside the hood.
- Last, color the big intake scooped out behind the door, the rear wing and the wheel rims dark gray, with orange inside each wheel.
Questions to talk about
- What job might the deep scoop on the car's side be doing?
- Can you find things around you that are shaped like teardrops?
- How does orange look different when the sun shines on it?
Take it further
Cut teardrop and curved pieces from orange paper and glue them on a sheet to build a car. Explain how you joined the curves.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
