Difficulty: Medium
Areas to color: about 80

Coloring order

Start with Yuna's green cardigan and long orange-toned skirt since they're the big areas, then add a light color to the blouse underneath.
Color the open book in her hand and the three books in her arm with a different cover color for each.
Finish with her long wavy hair and brown shoes, and alternate two colors on the pleats at the bottom of the skirt.

Questions to talk about

What story do you think is inside the book Librarian Yuna has opened?
Which book would you look for first at a library?
What does the cover of your favorite book look like?

Take it further

Fold paper in half to make a cover and title for your own book, then put number tags on books to make a family library like Yuna's.

Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.

About this image

The black-and-white line art you print and color, with clear outlines and wide areas that suit younger children.

Printing and coloring tips

Print on A4 or Letter in portrait to keep the original proportions.
Keep the finished version open beside you while you color.
Use slightly heavier paper with water-based markers so the ink shows through less.
Fill the large areas first and leave the small ones for later.
The finished version is only a suggestion. Any colors you like will work.
