Coloring order
- Color the two clear snow globes light blue with the snowy ground left white, and use different colors for the green bases, purple bows and star.
- Tint the bunny's soft ear insides pink, then color the red plaid scarf and the tiny snowman's red hat in its hands, leaving the white fur blank.
- Last, do the jar of star sprinkles, the purple ribbon, the heart mug of scissors and brushes, the pine sprigs and cone and the snowy trees outside.
Questions to talk about
- What kind of little town might be inside the bunny's snow globe?
- What happens when you shake a snow globe?
- If you built a tiny world, what would you put inside?
Take it further
Draw a big circle on paper and fill it with a tiny village, then dot white snow all around it to finish your own winter snow globe picture.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
