- Medium
- Areas to color

Coloring order
- Color the Switzerland map light blue, slowly following its bumpy edges all the way around.
- Color the ibex's brown body and cream belly, then use two browns on the long, ridged horns that curve backward.
- Last, do the red backpack, the teal neckerchief and the sturdy hooves.
Questions to talk about
- What will the ibex see as it climbs up high?
- How many ridges are on the horn? Let's count.
- Have you ever climbed somewhere high? How did it feel?
Take it further
Build a low hill from cushions and climb over it one careful step at a time like an ibex, with a grown-up nearby.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
