Coloring order
- Color the W1's low, wide body in one orange first, leaving the black roof and the frame around the windshield as separate areas.
- Use dark colors for the black vent on the hood, the sharply angled headlights and the big black gap under the front bumper.
- Last, color the wing rising at the back, the wheel rims and the big side vent in black and gray.
Questions to talk about
- What kind of expression does the W1 have when you look at it head-on?
- How do orange and black make you feel when they are used together?
- If you could ride anything for one day, what would you choose?
Take it further
Draw a three-panel comic with this car in it: starting out, speeding along and arriving. Add a speech bubble with one line in each panel.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
