Legends of the East Coloring Pages
6 printable coloring pages from legends of the east — original characters that keep the shape the old stories describe, with new names, markings and palettes. Each comes as a pair: a color reference and black-and-white line art to print.

Ways to use this collection
This Eastern legends set has three pages: Bulbi the horned dokkaebi with teal skin, a red-skinned oni, and Lumirin the qilin whose pastel mane swirls in curls. The traditional looks are kept, but the names, patterns and colors are all newly designed originals, so children can compare them with the stories they already know.
Activity ideas
- Limit Bulbi's sash and outfit to red, navy and gold, then pick very different colors for the skin and hair to practice contrast.
- Place the dokkaebi and oni pages together and list three similarities and three differences in horns, clothes and expressions on a two-circle overlap chart.
- Imagine where Lumirin lives and draw clouds, mountains or a pond around the page, then guess together what its name might mean.
Tip Lumirin's many swirls are best for ages 7 and up; for younger children, choose colors for big areas like Bulbi's clothes and horns.
