Coloring order
- Color Sena's orange-toned cardigan and teal pants first since they're the big areas, then add a light color to the shirt underneath.
- Use different colors for the cover and the pages of the open book in one hand, and a different color for each of the two blocks she points at.
- Finish with her curly updo and her yellow shoes.
Questions to talk about
- What story would Teacher Sena read from that open book to her class?
- If you stacked one more block on top, what color and shape would it be?
- Can you picture a teacher you really like? What are they like?
Take it further
Play teacher and read a book to your stuffed animals, then show them how to build shapes with blocks.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
