- Medium
- Areas to color
- about 240
Coloring order
- Start with Luna's navy dress, and change the ruffles to a different purple on each layer.
- Then color her high twin ponytails, the small crown and the star wand in her hand, with a yellow star on the tip.
- Color the tall pointed crystal towers and the swirly path. The sky is drawn black, so you can leave the stars and clouds white.
Questions to talk about
- What would happen if Princess Luna waved her star wand?
- What kind of light would sparkle in a crystal castle at night?
- Have you ever looked for the moon and stars in the night sky?
Take it further
Glue a paper star to the end of a straw to make a star wand, then invent a magic word and act out a short story with it.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
