Coloring order

- Spread feathery wing strands on both sides: alternate deep blue and teal, one strand at a time.
- After the two antennae and the eyes, slowly fill the calm ripples and round bubbles behind with sky blue and white.
Questions to talk about
- How many wing-like strands does Draco have? Count just one side!
- If Draco were a real dragon like its name, what powers would it have?
- If Draco floats on the surface, how would it look from underwater?
Take it further
Cut thin strips of blue paper, glue one end of each and fan them out like feathery wings on both sides of your Draco picture.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
