Coloring order
- Color Bogeul's puffed-up body by alternating lime green and yellow. Making the color lighter from the center outward will make it look rounder.
- Dab every spiky thorn along the body in dark green without skipping any, and color the fins on both sides yellow.
- Outline the bubbles around in sky blue and finish with the seaweed and coral below in green, orange and pink.
Questions to talk about
- Why do you think Bogeul puffed up so big?
- What did Bogeul look like before it puffed up?
- What happens to your body when you're startled?
Take it further
Puff out your cheeks to make a round Bogeul face. Face a friend and see who can make the funniest pufferfish expression.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
