Coloring order
- Color the three tower bodies of Marina Bay Sands like blue glass, alternating light blue and blue on the window panes row by row.
- Paint the long ship-shaped roof laid across the tops of the three towers in silver-gray and cream, in one long stroke.
- Finally, color the low buildings at the bottom, the glass entrance and the small square structures on the roof.
Questions to talk about
- A roof as long as a ship sits on the three towers. What would you do up there?
- The towers seem to lean toward each other. How do you think they stand?
- Have you ever seen a city lit up at night? What lights did you see?
Take it further
Stand three blocks or paper cups upright and lay a long piece of cardboard across the tops to make a ship-roof building. Find out how to keep it from falling.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
