Fruits Coloring Pages
8 food coloring pages on fruits from the food balance wheel. The colors are clear, so they are good for learning color names, and each food comes as a pair: a color reference and black-and-white line art to print. Handy for nutrition lessons and for talking about picky eating.

Ways to use this collection
Four fruit pages make up this set: apple and banana, grapes and watermelon, a strawberry, and a mandarin orange. Red, yellow, purple, green and orange all appear together, which is handy for practicing color names, and the spaces range from tiny grapes to a big wedge of watermelon.
Activity ideas
- Dot the strawberry seeds in yellow over the red, and shade the mandarin peel and its peeled segment in two oranges to practice one color name in two shades.
- Sort the finished pages into color baskets for red, yellow, purple and orange, and let the children decide where a two-colored page belongs.
- Take turns saying whether there was fruit in today's snack, then have each child pick a favorite fruit page, add a name tag and introduce it to a friend.
Tip Start ages 3 to 4 with the large strawberry and mandarin pages, save the grape page for ages 5 and up, and offer chunky crayons or pencils either way.
